DVI Cables

DVI cable is used to connect the DVI port from a computer or other DVI video source to a display device with a DVI connection such as a monitor. DVI extension cables allow you place your display away from your video source where applications demand it. DVI cables can handle high quality digital video resolutions while maintaining signal quality and integrity. Other types of DVI extension include DVI to VGA cables or DVI Fiber optic extension cables. DVI-D to VGA allows you to connect a digital video source to your analog monitor. DVI fiber optic cable is much more robust and will transmit DVI video long distances over a fiber optic cable. DVI over Fiber is often used in highly secure environments or when superior distance is required over standard DVI cables.
