DVI Video Switch allows you to simultaneously connect several DVI (digital video interface) video sources and switch between them on a single DVI video display. This eliminates the need for multiple monitors taking up valuable space. The DVI switch is available in a 2 and 4 port models plus an optional DVI video/audio version. Additionally, the DVI switcher is available in a matrix format, known as a DVI video matrix switch, which allows you to switch between multiple inputs and multiple outputs. The DVI video switch utilizes simple push button or infrared remote control and is compatible with most DVI interfaces from devices such as PC’s, TV’s, VCR’s, and DVD’s. The digital video switch is HDCP (HDTV) compliant and supports high display resolutions up to 1600x1200 and 480p, 720p, 1080p for HDTV’s. A DVI switcher functions by connecting your DVI video sources to the switch and then connecting your DVI video display to the output.
