Component Extenders

Component Extender can transmit component video and/or audio up to 1000 feet away over UTP/STP cable with the CAT5 Component Video Extender. These extenders support HDTV display resolutions up to 1080i with no loss in video quality due to signal degradation. Component Extenders consists of a transmitter that connects to the video source, such as a PC or DVD player and a receiver that connects to the component video display device. CAT5 Component Extender comes in several form factors: a point to point unit that goes from one source to one display and two and four port versions, known as Cat5 video splitter extenders that allow you extend your component video signal to multiple locations.
