Cat5 Component Video Extender
Cat5 Component video extender consists of a pair of devices that will transmit a component video (YPbPr) signal over inexpensive Cat5 or Cat6 UTP cable. The component extender Cat5 is made up of a transmitter that connects at the video source and receiver that plugs into the display and sends video distances of up to 1000 feet away from your source. Multiple component video resolutions are supported with the Cat5 component extender including 420p, 576p, 720p and 1080i. Several models of the component extender are available such as point to point, 2 and 4 port versions as well as the component audio video extender.
