Firewire Extenders
Firewire fiber optic extension extends a firewire device up to 3280 feet (1,000 meters) over multimode fiber optic cable. The firewire fiber optic extender consists of two units, a transmitter that connects to the firewire source and a receiver that connects at the remote location to the extension peripherals. The firewire fiber optic extension complies with 1394a and 1394b and operates at speeds of 100, 200 and 400 Mbps. Our long firewire extender product is plug and play and requires no software or drivers to setup.
