RS-232 Extenders
RS232 extender allows the transfer of the RS232 protocol over long distances via inexpensive Cat5 UTP cable. The Cat5 RS232 extender will extend your serial control up to 1,000m (3300ft) across Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 cables. Set up is done by connecting your source to the transmitter and your remote RS232 / serial device to the powered receiver. The two Cat5 RS232 devices are then connected by the Cat5 cable. Serial cable and power supply are included. The RS232 extender is an ideal solution for configurations in a variety of applications.
